DR. Isa Bachour

Im going to add a Doctors series since I visit ALOT of doctors!!

Today I went to INAYA GERMAN MEDICAL CENTER for the first time. I went to improve my skin texture/ condition and make it look like baby skin and even out my skin tone.

Let me tell you about my skin first, I have combination skin, gets dry at times and oily on others and I get a blemish every now and then but nothing severe and have some open pores.

I've tried nearly all dermatologists in kuwait but after a few visits I stop going. I usually commit to a dr and visit regularly until I feel that their is no improvement (knowing that a treatment usually takes 3 to 6 months for results to show and is not an overnight process).

Anyway my friend suggested Dr 3eesa.

Dr. 3eesa Bashoor is a consultant in dermatologist, French board.

He used to work at al shifaa hospital. Any one know him??

This is his pic he had of him in the elevators

I got there at 10:00 am, saw the Dr around 10:30 solaft weyah hes like shfeech 5ayfa ;x I wasn't 5ayfa bs im usually shy.. ga3ad esolf weyay laima I started talking chan agoola that I heard ili y5alu9 mn 3lajik gets married? (thats what my friend told me!!) he laughed haha anyway he then told me I need to do a blood test and the thing is I freak out from blood tests but I did it and it was ok ;P then I waited for the results (they took an hour) and around 12:30 I got to see the Dr again for some prescriptions.

He gave me a face wash and cream tagsheir (retin-A) and a morning cream (5al6a) 3shan e5afif il redness

Anyway...

Heres a lil interview I did with him:

  • Whats the key to healthy skin?

Knowing what works for you and not taking friends advice or creams friends use.

  • What home remedy do you recommend?

None.

  • Whats the best way to remove blackheads?

Nose strips. Use them once a week

  • If someone doesn't get alot of breakouts but has scars from previous breakouts, what could be helpful to remove that scar?

I have to see the patient and do a plan, some scars takes a long time to be removed

  • Any other advice?

Yes, 7af e5arib il wayh. Makeup e5rb ilwayh, taking friends advice and using same skin care without consulting dr e5rb il wayh

My opinion from visit 1:

b9ara7a awal mara a7is DR fahim mo ana afahma medical things 7ata he asked me if I was a medical student or am a DR/ pharmacist :P I will try his treatment and I will keep you girls updated!!

oo that was nice of him ina he took 5 mins to answer my questions o his patients are waiting outiside ;P

Anyway June 23 is the next available appointment with the DR. madre ymkn now wu9al june 24 .. Because there really is a lot of people! And while I was there, the phone did not stop ringing kla yaboon mwa3eed so if you want to try him CALL NOW

Sarah- At least my skin tone should be even! if your not happy with ur skin, see a dermatologist!!

Zabo0o6a- Never heard of him before.. I think the early stages are easy using roaccutane tablets, some salyclic acid and benzoyl peroxide (clearing up acne and stuff) but the end is hard (pores and even out skin ) .. update us at the end!

Do you know Dr. Sahar Ghannam ? if yes how was your experience with her

Hi Maintenance said...

Anonymous1- I wish I could help, but I never experienced under eye darkness myself.
Dont give up, research online and try different dermatologists.

Anonymous2- Hmm.. I know DR Sa7ar personally therefore my answer would be biased. HOWEVER the Dr did tell me that open pores can not be treated and to this day she is right.
