Whiter teeth

Im not a tea or coffee person so my teeth are already kind of white
and I have used crest 14 days whitning strips years ago and some useless whitening gels

Now I've decided to whiten my teeth a shade or 2,
so I visited a few dentists seeing what they would recommend/ suggest..

anyway I took non of the dentists advice ;P and I decided to just clean my teeth and then decide if I needed to do any of the advanced whitning stuff..

So I went and got my teeth cleaned
(you should be doing this every 6 or so months)
at one of the priate clinics but the mstaw9af is just as good.. and I did see a bit of a diffrence..

and then a day after (today) I got my Crest 2 hours whitning strips
(They're awsome if you want to see fast results)

Each whitestip box contains 4 packets but you can only use 1 every 3+ months

The strips are really thick! unline the old ones crest used to make,
theyre very firm and stick to the teeth very well!

Left the strips on for 2 hours and Im happy with the results!
Crest strips are the best in whitning!

I got the strips from Bed Bath & Beyond NY for $34.

Nose strips

I've always used biore nose stips because they were whats available at the CO-OP
+ they're very popular

But there was just 1 thing I didn't like about them;
Sometimes when you apply a little too much water to your nose, then apply the strip, the strip tears and there.. a strip wasted!

anyway, my freind was raving about some charcoal nose strips she got from boots and I never imagined charcoal as a nose strip so I had to get them and see what they were about..

The nose strip is black and has a better shape to fit the nose AND my biore problem was solved because these charcoal strips are very thick therefore it doesnt matter if you applied way too much water to your nose before applying the strip!

I loved them!! They also clean the nose from black and white heads better than the biore.. but be a little careful as I once left them way too long ( maybe an hour when your supposed to just leave them on for 15 minutes) and it peeled off a thin layer of my skin ;(

These strips have now replaced my biore .. I use them once a week

If you want to try these nose strips there available at boots (got mine from the one at plaza hawalli)
and they're for KD2.400

No Mosquitos

The only reason I love winter is because I don't see any mosquitoes!!

when its mosquito season I hate going out.. y3ni dgega mn our house lai my car I get at least 3 mosquito bites!! o moshkila when I get them, I don't stop scratching the area o the it becomes red o marat its gets really bad!! So if your like me, I came to a conclusion of the most effective ways to get rid of them

1) put the mosquito light machine everywhere in the garden/ near your car

When I pass by this at night I hear alot of "chik" "chik" sounds like someone is making popcorn .. these machines kill alottttttt

2) Leave a piff-paff/ Raid in your car o 1 in your room

Just incase a mosquito came in the car with u! spray!!

3) wear a mosquito wrist band

It says its best to wear a band on ur wrist o one on your ankle

This band smells weird and does not look good but it does keep mosquitoes away!

Enjoy mosquito free days!!

Worst make-Up buys for 2009

There's 3 days left for 2009! I made my decision on the worst make up buys I made this year. There are stuff I didn't like but still can make something out of them. These are MY WORST

MAC: Belightful iridescent powder/pressed.
I hate this! It has these chunks of glitter that makes perfect skin look bad.

Rimmel: sexy curves mascara- I Loved the name but hated the mascara! hate what it did to my lashes

Guerlain: khol- Looks fun, great packaging! but didn't like it; it smudges everywhere. I just used it once.

The body shop: sparkle roller ball- I dont know what I was thinking when I purchased this!

What are your worst 2009 make up buys?

Tea Tree Oil

When I was a teenager, I had really bad breakouts and they really bothered me. Somedays I wouldn't go out because of them and somedays if it was only one obvious pimple Id turn it into a mole lol. Im now in my 20's and I still get breakouts every now and then, especially just before 'that time of the month'. So recently I decided to return to my old favourite. Tea Tree Oil (TTO)

Tea Tree Oil has a long history of traditional use. Its leaves were used for healing cuts, burns and infections because of its antiseptic and antifungal properties.

Tea Tree Oil is usually used for;

-Acne
-Dandruff
-Athletes foot
-Thrush
-As an antiseptic

So to treat a nasty breakout recently I used The Body Shops Tea Tree Oil Blemish Stick. I applied this gel 2 times a day. I also liked that it doesn't have a strong smell and sinks into the skin quickly.

If you're having trouble with blemishes I'd give this product a try. It really speeds the process (because of the TTO) and also it contains allantion which soothes skin and panthenol which moisturises.

What do you guys use for a nasty breakout?
