Morrocan Bath House

Theres this newly opened salon that made it to my "FAVOURITES"

Its called the "morrocan bath house"

I found out about it on facebook..

the pics looked amazing and made me call them instantly to book my same day appointment.

I loved how the whole place has a Morrocan touch/ theme to it

and how theres only 2 rooms in the salon

each room has its bath, own changing place and seating area

its a very relaxing, quiet place since its only by appointments;

 mako za7mat il saloonat..

you can ask for music to be played or nothing..

everything goes.. just.. how.. you.. want.. it

 at the end they serve you with some delish morrocan tea

The place is a liiiiittle pricey compared to other morrocan baths

 but I think its worth it for the amount of pampering you get

 If you want to feel fresh, clean, spend time on yourself and get your mind off daily stress- Give this place a try

jabriya Salons - Betty Boop

When I have an occasion, going out or bat3asha with friends ..

and I need to get my hair done..

Betty Boop is one of the first salons I call to see if I can book in an appointment.

ALL the hairstylists are great

Nazi, Mariam, Daleila, Hanan

I recently got a voucher for a massage and also got a coupon to get a blow dry

Even though the coupon says blowdry with Anisa,

you can either get your hair done with Anisa or Hanan.

I like Hanans work..  Heres how the Blowdry turned out

                                                

Also when I need an updo and shrein in fully booked, my second option is always Betty Boop!

on to the massage.. Gishas massage is really good if you like lots of pressure; her hand is very strong.
Her technique and the way she massaged is really smooth, I felt she was using a machine at 1 point..
Since betty boop is not just a massage place, the atmoshere of the room was ok, not as relaxing as say something like .. Spa time

Priya is also good for brows and I like muthaweeys make-up

I've tried their nail spa, and I dont recommend it at all.. gave them more than one chance and never was impressed

So I guess Betty Boop is one of those few salons where you can get everything done well, in 1 place!

Bithday Girl :D

Hellooo

This is the birthday girl speaking!!

well it was my birthday on wednesday but im still celebrating :P

I didn't do anything crazy or different other than celebrated my birthday 3 times so far
June 7th I had dinner with the family at lorenzo
June 8th I had dinner at OFK with friends
and June 9th I had lunch at pizzetta
o inshallah I will be blowing out candles 1 more time this year!!

Im sure everyone is familiar with beautiqe,

 its also one of the salons I pass by frequently for over a year now!

Shrein has to be one of the TOP updo stylists in Kuwait, her hair styles are very simple/ european style  and their prices are very affordable! (usually KD25)

I do have an old pic of an updo shrein once did for me, you can look for it somewhere on my blog

but I also get a package of blow dry

5 blowdrys and get the 6th free for 20KD..

I blow dry my hair nearly everyday now after the gym so I prefer going to shrein because she uses less heat on the hair and Im also trying to get it back to good condition

and I highly recommend letting SUMI wash your hair and give you a head massage, shes amazing.

Appointments are usually booked really fast, so make sure you call early

Jabriya Salons - Nada Bella

Someone asked my what salons I go to near zero degrees so I thought why not, tell u about each salon I go to in JABRIYA.. might cover another area later bs 9ij jabriya has ALOT of salons!

Im gona start off with nada bella since I was there recently..

I know I know the building is really old o the salon is dirty o ilmokan klsh mayshajji3 and the parking area is really bad ..

BUT I really like Leesha; an indonisian girl that does 7ina designs... you show her what design you want o tathbu6a.. Leesha from Nada bella is my fav when it comes to body art.

heres a design that I can show you.. It may not reflect how good she is but I cant put the others on the web ;p

exciting!!! Ive always wondered what it would be like having fishes nibling the dead skin off my foot! now its available at betty boop

Dr fish Pedicure takes an hour .. 12 KD

you put your feet in the fish bowl for 15 mins ;p

ASAP Kuwait

ASAP is a home service salon I heard about on twitter..

After the great experience with casa spa I decided to also give ASAP a try

 
I recently called them and got an appointment on the same day

now lets compare CASA with ASAP

• CASA came 5 minutes earlier than the appointment time to set up and organize their stuff
• ASAP were 15 mins late

•  CASA came in a cute CASA uniform and fully prepaired with ALL the thing they need including the hot water to add in the tub
• ASAP came in a jeans and t-shirt and dont have all the fancy decorations ( no candles/ tea/) I even had to boil water for them to put it in the mani/pedi tub

stained towels..

CASA had a hot pan under the  peducure machine to keep it hot at all times..

I was really pleased with my manicure CASA did, not the best ever.. but it was good

ASAP, I had to redo a few nails after she left

• CASA had a huge nail color selection
• ASAP had less, and I didnt want color anyway.. I asked for something to strengthen the nails she said they didn't have one and that its out of stock

overall..

Ever since I tried Queen nails, I have not given any other home service a try- the experience was HORRIFIC

But this time I got a voucher from Spoil me Boutique (after purchasing the lovely black dress) worth KD20 so I said why not? Ive got nothing to loose

The gift certificate came with an apple and a candle and everything like the pic above and I started getting flashbacks of how well Queen nails presentation and decorations were but how bad the service was :x

anyway I called and booked an appointment for today at 3pm

Casa spa came 5 mins earlier to set up the place..

Candles? Check.. Hot drink? Check..

Great nail color selection? Check

Relaxing music? Check

Apple? Check ;x

now the important part...

THE SERVICE!!

She started with putting anti-bacterial products in the water..

cut and shaped my nails

and then used this scrub which had sesame seeds in it

then wrapped my hand and feet with a hot towel

Then put charcoal and milk to soften

covered it with plastic and covered my leg with cling film..

and then a hot stone massage

she then applied my chosen nail polish

and then it was time to leave ;(

My therapist:

Finished nails: nail color- Essie chinchilli

Toe nails- Essie haute as hello

It was really nice and well done.. my nail shape is better, skin is whiter and softer

 Lyn knows what she was doing and I might get her to do my nails again..

The treatment I did was the Asian Fusion

its worth KD 25 ( I added KD5 to the voucher).. Im not sure Id do the exact treatment again, china KD25 wayid..

But anyway regular mani and pedi with scrub is for KD 12

Casa spa also offer tanning services, body massages, moroccan baths

the process took 2 Hours

Betty Boop salon

Today I was looking for a salon to just blowdry my hair- nothing special, shay 3adi for everyday

In the morning I called katha salon o no one was picking up the phone, so I went

I went to beautique klha full.. moss busy even though I dont really like them, my friend recomended rondevous but they girl she told me about wasnt there, so I asked on twtter wla ashof my friend in her car jdami!!:P

I called her o she wasn going to a salon too so she parked 3nd il bank o she told me she wanted to go to betty boop o so e went

this was my first time there even though ALOT of people recommend it, but I just didnt know where exactly it was located bs this time I had a guide with me..

my friend got her brows done while I got my hair blow dried

the place looks really cool its not in a 3mara its on its one and looks so cute like a gift shop

They have an offer for summer which includes getting a mani pedi/ 7amam zait/ blowdry all for just KD20

Ill be trying it next time

This is whats included in the package (7mam zait) its a fresh mask made of fruits, vegetables, oils, honey, butter and much more and is specified to target dry damaged hair (like mine)

I actually loved betty boop! the location is great, the place looks great and their work is amazing PLUS I didnt need an appointment o the price was great! I payed KD8 coz my hair is long

Ill deffinatly be going there again!!
